About us

Portsmouth Entertainments consists of a very talented group of Disc Jockeys that each have over 10 years experience with private parties, weddings, events, clubs and pubs. We specialise in bridging the gap between the club DJ & the Mobile DJ experience.

We offer a top class, professional sound and light show with a vast selection of music. We only use the best, top end equipment for our shows. We have lights, lasers that twist, turn, change shape, dance to the music, flash, strobe, change colour and project beams. The sound system is the best from Wharfedale Pro Titan series, the quality of sound is second to none. We use C.D decks, record decks, high output amps to cope with the sound system and all run through a professional club mixer. We are fully insured, carrying public liability insurance covering up to £2million and personal accident insurance covering up to £10,000. All of our equipment is regularly PAT tested. We have a great track record, we pride ourselves on our customer service as well, right from the very first point of contact, right through to the last song played on the night. We send confirmation letters, emails, business cards, full receipts for deposits, comment cards and call clients a week before the event to finalise details and to reassure. Picking one DJ from a webpage or phone book of many can be difficult in knowing what you will be getting on the night and in terms of professionalism. We provide as much information as we can, as many pictures and videos of the setup, previous weddings and events, as well as comment cards from previous clients. We like to keep it simple and what you see is what you get. With well over 6000 songs to hand on C.D, MP3 and Vinyl from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today. From Pop, Hip Hop, R n B, Party, Dance, Cheese, Chart, Old school, Indie, rock, jive. If you think of it, ill more than likely have it.
